National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) is one of India’s premier autonomous technical universities, recognized nationally for its excellence in engineering education and research. Established in 1959 as the first Regional Engineering College in the country, it was later conferred the status of an Institute of National Importance under the NIT Act. Located in Warangal, Telangana, NIT Warangal spans a vibrant 256-acre campus equipped with modern academic infrastructure, advanced laboratories, and a research-driven ecosystem.
