The Gandhigram Rural Institute (Deemed to be University), located in Gandhigram near Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, is one of India’s pioneering institutions dedicated to rural higher education and sustainable development. Established in 1956 by Dr. T.S. Soundaram and Dr. G.
